Multifamily Housing

The client contracted with my team to produce a high-end design for market rate apartments in Lincoln, NE. This project is part of a larger development with a golf course, offices, and townhouse condominiums. After DD, a local architect of record took over the project for CDs and CA.

My role was exterior design support, primary interior plan design, and interior design support.

Exterior Design Concept

In plan, material is dictated by the ‘bookends of the ‘h’ form. Darker brick grounds the lower levels at the ends, lighter brick in the middle, with the top floor being a lighter material.

The eastern portion (4th floor penthouses) are a wood-look material.

View at entry. Wood cladding is selectively used at prominent areas such at the entry, the 4th floor penthouses, and at the underside of unit balconies.
